The Black Plague and How it Began
How the Black Plague all started was when Europe began trading over seas with foreign countries. With thier goods being delivered, so did the Plague. The Plague was a bacteria within the fleas and in which the ticks would feed onto rats for survival and transfer the bacteria. During the trades overseas in Europe, the rats would be on the ships as well back to Europe and would live there as well as the fleas infecting them. The rats would die due to the infection from the fleas and the fleas had to find a new host. The closest living thing would be people and so they would feed on them and transfer the infectious bacterial disease into the person and due to the lack of the people's hygiene, the disease spread even more rapidly. This is how the Black Plague began and it continued for a long period of time because the people in that time mainly believed that it was a punishment from God. Later on, people began to try and prevent and find a cure to the Black Plague because of the large amounts of deaths occuring.
